We drove past this political rally on our last day in Senegal. When we got back to US, Eric and I saw the same rally on
CNN. We also drove through several parades supporting different candidates, fortunately, although they were pretty loud and crazy, they were peaceful. But foreigners are advised to always avoid those types of situations.
The day we left Senegal, there was a riot between supporters of opposing candidates of the election. We are praying that once a winner is announced there is not more unrest or rioting.
